Tender description
The domestic property portfolio of the Council comprises a mixture of social housing (approximately 13 500 properties in number) and other properties. Of these there are 850 blocks of flats with communal entrances which have door entry systems. Scope. — installation/maintenance of door entry systems, — installation/maintenance of CCTV systems, — installation/maintenance of alarm systems (fire / panic / intruder), — installation/maintenance of access systems (automatic gates / automated doors / access to offices). Structure. The Council had concluded that its requirements are best achieved by procuring a Framework Agreement with one Contractor. The following shows the structure of the framework: A two(2) year framework period with an option to extend for a further two(2) years. The framework has been awarded to one Supplier. There are 9 high rise blocks in the City, all with door entry systems: — 77-151 Nelson House, — 152 – 271 Loudoun House, — 26 – 70 Maelfa, — 116 – 270 Channel View, — 1 – 99 Beech House, — 1 – 99 Sycamore House, — 1 – 42 Lydstep Flats, — 43 – 84 Lydstep Flats, — 85 – 126 Lydstep Flats. There are 10 Sheltered Accommodation Complexes which all have Door Entry Systems: — 1 – 35 Brentwood Court, — 1 – 33 Broadlands House, — 1 – 35 Clos Y Nant, — 101 – 129 Heathmead, — 1 – 35 Minton Court, — 1 – 16 Poplar House, — 22 – 62 Sandown Court, — 27 – 45 Wheatley Road, — 1 – 33 Worcester Court, — 77 – 151 Nelson House. All High Rise Blocks and Sheltered Housing Complexes have CCTV systems which are connected to the Council’s monitoring system based within the Alarm receiving Centre at Willcox House. In addition to the above, the following properties have a mixture of Door Entry Systems, Access Systems, Alarms Systems and CCTV systems. — Roverway and Shirenewton Sites, — Greenfam Hostel, — Ty Tresilian Hostel and Housing Options Centre, — Adams Court, — 186A-B Taff Embankment, — 27A - C Romilly Road West, — 180A Llandaff Road, — 11A-C Conybeare Road, — 19A- C Teilo Street, — 194A-D Kings Road, — 2B-E Thompson Avenue. Scope — installation/maintenance of door entry systems, — installation/maintenance of CCTV systems, — installation/maintenance of alarm systems (fire / panic / intruder), — installation/maintenance of access systems (automatic gates / automated doors / access to offices).
