Tender description

This is a call to competition by Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) to award a long term contract for the supply and delivery of Expansion Switches. IÉ invites Applications from suitably qualified companies to participate in the Pre-Qualification process to award a contract for the for the machining and delivery of Expansion (adjustment/breather) switches following free-issue of rail by IÉ. This will be a fixed price contract valid for three years with the option to extend annually for up to a maximum of 2 additional years. A pre-qualification questionnaire is attached to this notice and must be filly completed and returned as directed along with all required support documentation. To note: 1) IÉ shall free issue CEN54 E1 rails for machining; 2) Expansion switch rails must be machined identically to allow for pairing in service; 3) All rail branding must be removed clear of clamp plate positions; 4) Rail ends to be provided undrilled; 5) Average annual requirement estimated at 30 sets. A pre-qualification questionnaire is attached to this notice and must be filly completed and returned as directed along with all required support documentation.
