Procurement for the provision of a BNSSG DVT service

Tender description

NHS Bristol, North Somerset & South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (BNSSG CCG) wishes to procure a Deep Vein Thrombosis Service (DVT) for service users registered with a BNSSG GP. The aim is to establish a standardised BNSSG DVT pathway for adults presenting in general practice with a suspected DVT. The contract(s) will be for an initial term of 3 years from 01/04/2019, with a possible extension of any period (or periods) up to a further 2 years, as defined at the discretion of the CCG. The CCG has an annual budget available of approximately £500,000 (excluding. VAT). This procurement is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioners.
