Tender description
The supply and proof testing of challenger 2 and AS90 Obturators, BVA’s and Thrust Housings. Babcock DSG Ltd, acting as agent for the UK Ministry of Defence, intends to negotiate a contract with BAE Systems Global Combat Systems Ltd for the supply and proof testing of challenger 2 and AS90 Obturators, BVA’s and thrust housings. It is considered that this contract can be awarded using the Negotiated Procedure Without Prior Publication pursuant to Article 28(1) (e) of Directive 2009/81/EC (Regulation 16(1)(a)(ii) of the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011) for technical reasons.
