Tender description
The Royal Botanic Gardens Kew are inviting tenders for contract for the loading/unloading, storage, transportation and project management of the installation and derig of artworks in relation to the Chihuly Exhibition at Kew Gardens in 2019. Each year at Kew, a major visitor campaign is run, in order to appeal to different sectors of the market, driving more people to visit the Gardens. Dale Chihuly is an internationally renowned glass sculptor, with works of art on display in RBG Kew, hotels and visitor attractions all over the world. Chihuly will be exhibiting his works (to form the primary visitor campaign for the year) at Kew Gardens in 11.4.2019 – 27.10.2019. There will be 10 main outdoor locations for the pieces and 3 indoor locations, and they will require transporting, handling and installing safely into the Gardens.
