Summary of the work A laptop build SME resource is required to provide support to the Design pillar. The objective is to build a set of secure laptops. For the first six months this is envisioned as 1 FTE, but will be approximately 1 day per week thereafter. Specialist role Technical Architect Expected Contract Length All work complete by 30/10/19 Latest start date Monday 22 October 2018 Who Speclialist Work With Working with ISS design team. What Specialists Work On The objective of this task is to provide a set of laptops. Needs to Support: a) Development of a build image for the laptop to support a Secret laptop and a TS laptop. b) Installation of the images on to approx. 30 laptops. c) Document the build of the laptops to support security and future use of the laptops. d) Managing the Crypto products on the laptops e) Uploading bid technical datapacks to the laptops f) Clean down laptops after the ITN is completed g) Support security testing of the laptops as required for accreditation of the laptops. Skills & Experience • Have DV Clearance • Experience with TS systems • Must be UK National without dual nationality • Must have experience installing latest Windows systems • Must have experience handling IT crypto products • Experience building of IT systems and documenting solution. • Knowledge of MOD IT security testing regime Nice to Haves • It would be preferable for experience to be on Windows 10 • ViaSat Enclypt drive experience is beneficial • Knowledge of extant MOD corporate systems Work Location Wiltshire, specific location disclosed at interview stage, after proof of clearance has been received. Working Arrangments Although based in Wiltshire, there will be regular visits to other sites in the South West, South East, and East of England. Additional expenses may be incurred in travelling to these other sites. Claims for travel and subsistence must be made in accordance with existing Civil Service policy. Expense claims will be subject to MOD sponsor approval before travel. Security Clearance Must hold current 'Developed Vetting' clearance. If we were to estimate competence level using SFIA we expect someone to show level 5.
