Integrated Design Team Services for Newcastle West Regional Athletics Hub & Associated Works

Tender description

The Development of a 9.44 acre site for an Athletics Hub at Newcastle West, Co. Limerick. The Newcastle West Regional Athletics Hub will, when completed, consist of an 8 lane 400 metre track and field sport facilities. As part of these services, the Integrated DT will be required to develop an overall masterplan for this development including for the provision of future facilities. The proposed deliverables for the development are as follows: Master Plan:- Development of an overall masterplan for any potential future growth within the Athletics Hub; Athletics Track:- Development of a 400m, 8-Lane Athletics Track including a 100m sprint, (with the option of an all-weather or grass sports pitch in the centre), walking circuit around the track, flood lighting, fencing and gates, entrance road and parking, site services, changing rooms, reception, site office, storage units for clubs; and Field Equipment:- The provision and installation of field equipment to include:- o discus & hammer throwing cage; o long jump; o high jump; o javelin; o shot put; o pole vault; o hurdles; o electronic start/finish equipm
