Leicester City Council is currently considering options to design a new Community integrated sexual health promotion service, with a view to commencing the proposed new service by the 1.4.2019. As a part of this process, the commissioners of this service are keen to capture provider experience, skills, knowledge and concerns at an early point to ensure these can be fully considered throughout the service and procurement design phases. The commissioner would like to carry out Soft market testing exercise and hold a Market Engagement Event. Providers (or prospective providers) of these services are asked and encouraged to kindly share their thoughts and experiences in relation to the questions contained within the Soft market testing questionnaire. It is recognised that such questionnaire takes time to complete, and so any level of information will be gratefully received. This is not a call for competition. The Council is using this process solely to test the market to gather information and ascertain the level of interest in this particular Service. There are therefore no formal criteria which will be used to judge your responses, and it is not our intention to provide any feedback. Market Engagement Event Leicester City Council will also be holding a Market Engagement Event on the morning of Friday 19.10.2018. Attendance is by pre-registration only. To register for this event please email the following details by no later than Tuesday 16.10.2018 to the email address procurement-asc@leicester.gov.uk with the subject heading CISHPS Market Engagement Event: 1) Name of your company/organisation; 2) Names and job title of the person/s attending (Attendance is limited to two individuals from each organisation); 3) Telephone number and email address of the person/s attending; 4) If you have any specific access to the meeting room requirements then please detail these. Venue for the Market Engagement Event is Meeting Room G.01, Leicester City Council, City Hall, 115 Charles Street, Leicester LE1 1FZ. On the day, registration will commence from 10:00 a.m. with the actual session commencing at 10:30 a.m. The purpose of the Market Engagement Event is to inform the potential providers of some of the key commissioning intentions; to get the market ready for the upcoming procurement (anticipated later this year) of Community integrated sexual health promotion service; and to explore the potential for consortia or sub-contracting approaches within service delivery. The event will provide an opportunity for potential providers to network with each other. Please note that the Market Engagement Event and the Soft market testing does not constitute a call for competition to procure any services and the partners are not bound to accept any proposals offered. The partners are not liable for any costs, fees or expenses incurred by any party participating in this event.
