The university of Hull currently uses a range cleaning consumables, paper products and chemicals. The university requires equivalent or alternative products which have the same cleaning qualities as the productslisted. It would welcome innovative and environmentally friendly solutions in order to enhance the service we provide where a clear benefit can be derived. The initial contract period is to be 2 years, with the start date to be in the last quarter of 2018 with a possible further 2 year extension dependent upon performance, in annual increments. Responses to the SQ are required by 29th October at 12:00 noon UK time. The competition is divided into 3 lots: Lot 1: Paper Products; Lot 2: Cleaning Consumables; and Lot 3: Cleaning Chemicals. The university of Hull seeking to procure a supplier for the supply of cleaning consumables and chemicals across the campus. The university will procure the supply of the products by a competitive dialogue following the Public Contracts Regulations and those of the European Union (OJEU). The contract will be managed in 3 lots and the university seeks a contractor who will provide the most economically advantageous solution for each Lot. The university will award 2 or more Lots to one contractor when there is an economically advantageous case for doing so. In the first stage, interested parties qualify to take part in the tender process via a capability and capacity process in which they are required to demonstrate their compliance and competencies against pre-defined criteria and ability to provide minimum requirements. For the second stage, the University will select the top 5 companies, for each Lot, who meet its selection criteria to participate in the full tender process. After the evaluation of initial tenders, for the third stage, the University will seek to develop the appropriate solution with each bidder for a lot then request a final price for the solution offered. You are invited by the University to participate by responding to a Capability and Capacity Questionnaire to qualify to be Invited to Tender for the works.
