Iarnród Éireann is seeking to procure a new FP and A system capable of fulfilling the following financial planning and reporting requirements below across their 5 reporting base entities and top level consolidated entity: 1) planning budgeting and forecasting; 2) financial and management reporting; 3) route profitability reporting. The purpose of this Market Consultation document is to provide prospective candidates with background information on the intended nature, structure and scope of the FP and A System Project and to seek feedback that will help Iarnród Éireann in developing its understanding of how the market might receive this Project. This market consultation document is being issued as part of the market sounding exercise being undertaken by Iarnród Éireann in advance of a planned procurement competition, which is intended to be advertised by placement of a Contract Notice in the Official Journal of the European Union.
