If you would like to participate, please contact the team on smart-energy-cities@crowncommercial.gov.uk. A Smart Energy City is a climate-friendly one, which optimises urban energy systems, thereby improving the quality of life for its citizens. The Smart Energy City is highly energy efficient, and is increasingly powered by renewable energy sources. This is driven by intelligent sources of data utilising the most up to date technologies and innovation. The aim of the agreement is to provide users with accurate data and feedback on their energy usage, emissions and pollution to help drive improvement. Please note the scope of the agreement is subject to change following feedback from suppliers, industry experts and public sector bodies as part of our schedule of engagement.
