Tender description

The Authority is looking to award grant funding across the financial years (1 April to 31 March) 2018-19 and 2019-20 to vehicle retrofit companies certified under the Clean Vehicle Retrofit Accreditation Scheme (CVRAS), for testing technologies as part of the CVRAS accreditation process. The CVRAS is administered by the Energy Saving Trust, an independent not-for-profit organisation. This is to support the Government in delivering its legally binding plan to improve air quality, reducing nitrogen dioxide levels in towns and cities in the shortest possible time. By helping to bring to market, retrofit technologies accredited for reducing tail pipe emissions from high polluting vehicles, this grant will (i) improve air quality in areas where levels of nitrogen dioxide are exceeding legal limits; and (ii) mitigate the impact of local air quality plans on individuals and businesses
