HealthTrust Europe is seeking to establish a new contract for PICC Lines, Mid Lines, Central Lines and Related Packs. HealthTrust Europe intends to award a dual (no more than 2 suppliers) or multi-source (up to 4 suppliers only) contract for a minimum of 2 years with an option to extend for a further 1 + 1 years. Confirmation of the correct sourcing strategy (dual/multi-source) will be confirmed prior to SQ and ITT stage of this procurement exercise. Suppliers who respond to this PIN Notice and express their interest in this procurement, are advised to keep the following dates open for a "Supplier Day" where Suppliers can demonstrate the range of products they have available to inform clinicians and be advised of the relevant stages of this procurement exercise. Please keep the 29th and 30.10.2018 free. HealthTrust Europe are seeking to establish a new contract for Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC) for adults, paediatric and neonatal patients. These are catheters that are inserted percutaneously via the veins in the arm and advanced into the central vein with the tip located in the superior vena cava (SVC). This exercise will also include PICC Line packs. HealthTrust Europe intend to award a dual (no more than 2 suppliers) or multi-source (up to 4 suppliers only) contract for a minimum of 2 years with an option to extend for a further 1 + 1 years. This exercise will also include Midline packs. Midline Catheters are defined as one that is between 7.5 and 20 cm in length and provides vascular access in a larger peripheral vein without entering the central venous circulation. Midlines are inserted into an antecubital vein and the tip is extended into the vein of the upper arm for about 20 cm, but it is not extended past the axilla. HealthTrust Europe intend to award a dual (no more than 2 suppliers) or multi-source (up to 4 suppliers only) contract for a minimum of 2 years with an option to extend for a further 1 + 1 years. HealthTrust Europe intends to award a dual (no more than 2 suppliers) or multi-source (up to 4 suppliers only) contract for a minimum of 2 years with an option to extend for a further 1 + 1 years.
