Tender description

The Council is looking for a supplier or suppliers to provide car washing and valeting services for approximately 675 vehicles in its current fleet. The Council is looking for a supplier or suppliers to provide car washing and valeting services for approximately 675 vehicles in its current fleet. These vehicles range from small cars up to 3 tonne panel vans and 22 seat buses. Each vehicle will have a requirement for a wash schedule of 4, 8 or 12 weeks depending on vehicle usage and a valet schedule of every 12 weeks depending on usage. These timescales may change depending on seasonality and events across the city. A small percentage of the vehicles will be required to be washed on site at Council operational depots or sites. This will necessitate the provision of a mobile service with the equipment required to carry out the service to the same standards as laid out in the contract specification. The Council is interested in understanding the market for these services to be provided by supported businesses.
