Bed bug treatment at Barr Lodge, Yiewsley

The London Borough of Hillingdon (the Council) is seeking quotes for the treatment of 32 flats and communal areas and voids, risers etc in Barr Lodge Successful bedbug treatment requires pre- and post-work actions by residents, e.g. bagging up possessions, boil-washing clothing and potentially disposing of infected items. As this is sheltered accommodation, prospective contractors would need to say how they would work sensitively with residents to ensure that the right procedures were followed to prevent re-infestation. Previous visits have identified bedbugs in flats 8+18. Flats 6+13 have been treated within last 12 months. All works are described in the Council's "Specification" which can be found within the Supplier attachment area. A quotation is also required for the treatment of Bond Close. At present we are not aware of any infestation at Bond Close but wish to have this information in case a later infestation is found. This will not form part of your tender price. There are 15 properties: 1 Bond Close is a house, 2-15 Bond Close are flats and all are sheltered accommodation.
