Tender description

Design, installation and implementation of Solar PV array to the new Refrigerated Cargo Terminal and the refurbished roof to the existing Multi-Storey Car Park/s. The successful tenderer may also be given the opportunity to provide proposals and negotiate some smaller ancillary projects in the future, albeit these are at an early stage of consideration. Pre-Contract Design Assistance It is anticipated that the Applicant will work with the DHB team and the design team, to propose a design for the installation of Solar PV and ancillary works based on the drawings provided by DHB which provides maximum efficiency and utilisation of the generation whilst ensuring all equipment adheres to the specification requirements. Solar PV installation: — Planning and implementation of mechanical and static access for the installation of the Solar PV panels, mounting systems and inverters, — A detailed plan for electrical works based on the DHB specifications, — A structural assessment of the building specifications to ensure maximum panel efficiency. — Planning of welfare, — All applications, assurances and compliance obligations with the local distribution network operator including any planning consents or electricity network consents, — Installation of the mounting system, solar PV panels and inverters based on the pre-agreed specification, — Full commissioning of all equipment to acceptable standards, — Working closely with the appointed Consultant to ensure that the final design and sign-off is clearly understood and represented within our imported electricity supply contract, — Manage all pre-approval processes with respect to energy market support mechanisms and renewable energy approval schemes (i.e. FiT).
