Queen’s University Belfast (Queen’s) wishes to procure approximately 128 commercial and medical grade refrigerators and freezers spanning over 10 items of equipment for the new Biological Sciences building, the equipment is required to support the research and teaching within the School of Biological Sciences. This Contract will be for the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning and maintenance of commercial and medical grade refrigerators and freezers. The refrigerators and freezers will be delivered, installed, commissioned and maintained at the following address School of Biological Sciences, 19 chlorine gardens, Belfast, BT9 5DL. Economic Operators are required to note that Queen’s reserves the right under this Contract to purchase additional refrigerators and freezers should there be a future requirement for this School or any other Schools within the University. This tender is divided into 9 lots. Under-Counter Laboratory Refrigerator, Non Spark Free Interior (Gross Capacity Approx. 120 L – 150 L) Free-Standing Refrigerator (Gross Capacity Approx. 300 L-500 L) Large Free-Standing Refrigerator (Gross Capacity Approx. 500 L-600 L). Under-Counter Laboratory Freezer, Non Spark Free Interior (Gross Capacity Approx. 135 L-160 L). Free-Standing minus 20 degrees Freezer (Gross Capacity Approx. 300 L-500 L). Large Free-Standing minus 20 degrees Freezer (Gross Capacity Approx. 500 L-600 L). Ultra-Cold minus 80 degrees to minus 86 degrees Freezer (Gross Capacity Approx. 100 L-150 L). Ultra-Cold Laboratory Freezer (Gross Capacity Approx. 500 L-600 L). Minus 20 degrees Chest Freezer (Gross Capacity Approx. 360 L-500 L).
