Who Speclialist Work With This resource will sit within the Drivers Legacy Product Squad and liaise with the squad Business Analysts and Testers to complete this work. What Specialists Work On A Software Developer is required for the Removal of Government Gateway from a DVLA Service that is Java/Oracle based. Further Drivers Service delivery pipeline of work will be required (that will be prioritised by the DVLA) to be delivered once the initial item of work is complete. Where the Work Takes Place DVLA, Morriston, Swansea DVLA, Richard Ley Development Centre, Swansea Vale, Swansea Early Market Engagement Working Arrangements 5 days per week on site for the initial completion of Removal of Government Gateway, work pattern for subsequent changes can be discussed. Work Location DVLA, Morriston, Swansea DVLA, Richard Ley Development Centre, Swansea Vale, Swansea Security Clearance BPSS clearance required, if SC clearance is required through the duration of the contract DVLA will sponsor. Additional T&Cs We currently see this role as sitting outside of IR35, as the candidates would not hold a fixed office position and will not have direct day to day direction or supervision. Skills & Experience Provide evidence (minimum 3 years) of Application stack knowledge – with experience in Java 1.4, EJB, JDBC, XML, WSDL, JSP, HTML, JavaScript, Struts, Weblogic Application Server, Weblogic Workshop, Oracle, SQL Provide evidence of (minimum 3 years) having a proven ability to understand and assess business and operational requirements, architectural goals and constraints Provide evidence of (minimum 3 years) having excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate technical delivery matters simply and clearly too non-technical colleagues. Nice to Haves • Provide evidence of working within an Agile squad, being a team players, in a technology based business environment (minimum of 1 example). No. of Specialists to Evaluate 10 Cultural Fit Criteria • Evidence of being a proven expert in working with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, communicating effectively, establishing consensus and facilitating decision making (minimum of 1 example). Assessment Method Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 70% Cultural fit 10% Price 20% Questions from Suppliers Budget range for the supplier to propose.
