Tender description

On behalf of the West Yorkshire Association of Acute Trusts, (WYATT) Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust is responsible for the commissioning of multiple e-Procurement systems and services. It is expected that dynamic scope and capabilities within the systems will be required, to suit the needs of all Trusts within WYAAT to support both the rollout and further development of Scan4Safety. The purpose of this PIN is to initiate market interest prior to supplier engagement for market consultation. A supplier day will be held on 5.10.2018, interested suppliers should register their interest for the supplier day by contacting by email caron.massey@midyorks.nhs.uk and benjamin.womack@nhs.net Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust is responsible for the commissioning of multiple e-procurement systems and services on behalf of the West Yorkshire Association of Acute Trusts: — Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, — Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, — Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust, — Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust, — Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, — Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust. The services required will be used to facilitate both the implementation and development of Scan4Safety dependent on the maturity of individual Trusts. The committment is to ensure that single e-procurement systems are implemented across the region, to enable a shared collaborative approach to successful deployment and development of Scan4Safety. Scan4Safety Implementation is reliant on the commissioned services being able, but not limited to, provide the following functionality: — Catalogue Management Solution: a CMS is required with the capacity to contain GS1 required data, contract information, access to master data, and the possibility to feed both ERP and IMS dependent on Individual Trust requirements, — Inventory Management Solution: An IMS demonstrating the ability to both maintain stock levels within multiple locations, identify owned and consigned stock, issue product usage to patients, while also facilitating point of care scanning. A top up module is desired within the IMS to feed external management systems (i.e. Logistics Online and/or Pharmacy Solutions), — Interconnectivity with existing and future (EHR) Electronic Health Record Solutions. Allowing interactivity between solutions sharing POC (Point of Care) Patient Data to deliver the full patient benefits of Scan4Safety, — Access Point: The Access Point must demonstrate that orders can be sent to suppliers in an XML format, receive order acknowledgements, advanced shipping notifications and e-Invoices in a Peppol compliant format. This must be interoperable with ERP systems present within WYAAT. Suppliers whom register interest must be able to provide all the following services as a sole or head provider contract: — Catalogue Management Solution, — Inventory Management Solution, — Certified Peppol Access Point. In addition, there will be a requirement for the above services to be accommodated by help desk support functionality, troubleshooting access, and finally innovation and development engagement.
