Tender description

User assessment and provision & maintenance of wheelchairs. The service is for residents who are registered with a General Practitioner within the boundaries of the following GP led Clinical Commissioning Groups: — NHS West Hampshire CCG, — NHS Southampton City CCG, — NHS Portsmouth CCG, — NHS South Eastern Hampshire CCG, — NHS Fareham and Gosport CCG. The five associated Contracting Authorities intend to award a new contract to their existing provider to extend the current service arrangements using the same Terms and Conditions. This is necessary to conclude work which is required to better understand the opportunities to commission integrated provision across each identified geographical footprint and to implementation of improvements required as part of the concluded service review, which offer the service users a stable and sustainable service.
