Tender description

The Health and Social Care Act (2012) requires Cornwall Council to provide open access (open to all) sexual health infection screening / testing, open access contraception and prevention services, including online sexual health service by 1.4.2019. Suppliers have the opportunity to bid for 1, 2 or 3 lots: — Lot 1: open access all age, — Lot 2: young person’s service (universal and targeted), — Lot 3: HIV Prevention services. Clinical governance, clinical workforce, training and development in primary and secondary care. Local delivery of the national chlamydia screening service, integrated within GUM provision with strategic leadership/support for those participating. — Lot 2: Young person’s service (universal and targeted). Contraception and sexual health service levels 1 and 2 clinical provision, relationships and sexual health education, non-clinical workforce training, condom distribution, You’re welcome accreditation scheme (SAVY). — Lot 3 HIV Prevention services: HIV prevention Services to prevent onward transmission from diagnosis, to undertake assertive outreach online and to offer prevention at lay byes across Cornwall
