Tender description

The Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment is responsible for licensing and regulating petroleum exploration and production activities, both offshore and onshore Ireland and for ensuring that such activities are conducted with due regard to their impact on the environment and other land/sea users. The Department is seeking the provision of competent expert environmental advice with regard to petroleum exploration and production activities, primarily advice in respect of statutory assessment of Environmental Impact Assessments and Natura Impact Screening Statements/ Natura Impact Statements, submitted in respect of offshore geophysical and seismic survey acquisition applications and exploratory drilling.
