This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is in relation to a new 4 year framework opportunity for the provision of Asbestos Services broken down into 3 separate service functions Lots: 1) Analytical; 2) Survey; and 3) Removal and Remediation Services. Each service function may be broken down further into one or more Lots based on geography or forecast spend with each Lot having four or more bidders appointed per Lot. Bidders are not required to provide all service functions or bid for all lots. There are no restrictions or conditions placed upon the Bidder as to the number of Lots a Bidder can bid for. However, please note, under the guidance offered by the Health and Safety Executive, asbestos suppliers cannot carry out a survey or do the analytical work on a project where they are contracted to carry out the removal work. The tender will be published on Public Contracts Scotland — Tender website https://www.publictendersscotland.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk and is free of charge to all interested parties.
