Central Bedfordshire Council are transforming the way we deliver services for children, young people and families. As part of this ambitious programme, we are about to re-commission a number of services to provide better, more integrated, locality-based support to our customers. After extensive consultation, we will be launching procurement in October for a 0-12 Family Service (to include Children's Centres) (Tender 1 — Lots 1 to 5), a Youth Service (Tender 1 — Lot 6), and a Supervised Contact Service (Tender 2) for children in care. Building on our last provider forum, current and prospective providers of services who are interested in bidding for the contracts outlined in this project are invited to attend a providers’ event at the Rufus Centre, Flitwick, on 12th October (9:30 am — 12:30 pm). Commissioners and Procurement officers will talk through the commissioning plan and the tendering process and lots, and offer providers the opportunity to discuss the proposed specifications.
