Tender description

Highway Weed Control Services — Kent County Council, Highways and Transportation (KCC HT and W) The service is for highway weed control spraying, provided primarily through programmed work with flexibility for additional ad-hoc provision. This contract will facilitate two programmed weed treatments per year to highway hard surfaces. The contract will also provide for the treatment of noxious weeds such as Japanese Knotweed and Giant Hogweed. The contract is for Lots 4 and 5 of the County as below: Lot 4 — Ashford and Swale. Lot 5 — Canterbury and Thanet. The contract will primarily service KCC HT and W owned assets. There may also be the need to carry out works on privately owned assets in order to ensure highway safety. This type of work has the potential to be re-charged through existing KCC processes.
