Tender description

Carmarthenshire County Council are holding an Early Market Engagement Workshop prior to advertising a contract opportunity for an After School and Holiday Provision for Disabled Children. The workshop will be held at The Beacon Enterprise Centre, Dafen, Llanelli SA14 8LQ on September 25th at 9:30 am. The workshop is a pre- procurement event whereby procurement staff are able to discuss any procurement related issues in relation to the forthcoming tender. It will be an interactive workshop with a preference to provider and stakeholder contribution, emphasising what they would like to see in the tender and how they want it packaged. Provider feedback is taken on board whereby information gained may influence changes and amendments to the requirements and specification of the tender. If you are interested in attending, please register as follows: kbaker@carmarthenshire.gov.uk The aim of this service is to deliver the following: — Afterschool clubs and holiday play schemes for disabled children aged 5-18, — This is likely to include a range of activities throughout the county of Carmarthenshire for children who are not be able to access other provisions as a result of their disability, — The service will need to be accessible to children with different needs, including physical disability, learning disability and autism.
