SC18017 - Venue Procurement for delivery of National Driver Offender Retraining Schemes courses delivered by Kent County Council

Due to lack of coverage in key delivery areas, KCC is extending this opportunity until midday on FRIDAY 21st September 2018 at midday. Those suppliers who have previously responded DO NOT need to respond again. Service description The service is looking to procure venues across the county of Kent to host the suite of ‘NDORS Driving Courses’ delivered by Kent County Council (KCC) ‘the service provider’ on behalf of Kent Police. The NDORS Driving courses are offered to offenders/ clients as a result of a driving offence/ incident and a timeframe is set by the Police Authority for the offender/ client to attend and complete the course offer. Each venue will be required to meet both the National NDORS requirements for venue use and the additional requirements set by KCC. The suite of NDORS courses are a combination of theory and practical sessions which are delivered by a panel of self-employed trainers whom are managed by KCC. These courses vary in length of time from full day courses to 3.5-hour sessions and each of the courses has registration and break periods. The attendee numbers for these courses are maximum 26 offenders/ clients plus 2 trainers. At adhoc times other personnel such as monitors may visit which would not exceed maximum of 2 individuals.
