The service seeks to initiate a prison based service for those over the age of 50 to encourage service users to take an active role in improving both their physical and mental health. Providers are expected and encouraged to show innovation. As per Regulation 75 (i) (B (iv)) of the Public Contracts Regulations (PCR) 2015, the Contracting Authority intends to award a public contract without further publication and invite interested providers to express their interest in writing by 24th September 2018, 12noon. If there are no further expressions of interest the Contracting Authority will start a direct award process for the contract term of 3 years with an optional extension of 12 months at the discretion of the Contracting Authority and subject to contractual and financial performance.
