Provision of capacity to act as a facilitator for the Opportunity Area post 16 sub group

Tender description

Award following a further competition through the Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation (ESPO) Framework, 664, Lot 1, Business Services. Derby City Council is working on behalf of the Post 16 sub group and also on behalf of the local Opportunity Area Board. Sought parties who have a successful track record of strategy development, programme management, process mapping and alternative delivery design in order to support the Post 16 sub group in its aims and development. The initial contract period is for one year; the contract is estimated to commence on 01/09/2018 and expire on 31/08/2019. The contract will be for 40 days per year and a maximum of up to £20,000 per annum. There will be an option to extend the contract for 12 months from 1st September 2019 to 31st August 2020 subject to satisfactory monitoring reports, high levels of provider engagement and the provider(s) being able to demonstrate an impact on the outcomes of young people. This is also subject to agreement by the Derby Opportunity Area Board, the Department for Education and Derby City Council.
