PRINCIPAL INSPECTIONS AND ASSESSMENTS OF HIGHWAY STRUCTURES 2018-2019

Tender description

Suitably qualified and experienced civil engineering consultants are sought to undertake Principal Inspections in accordance with BD 62/07 and BD 63/17 and Assessments of highway structures in accordance with BD 56/10, BD 48/93, BD 21/01, BA 16/97, BD 44/95, BD 61/10 and BA 55/06. The commission comprises approx 24 structures (bridges, culverts, retaining walls etc.) with submission of an individual report for each structure as well as completion of a CSS bridge inspection pro forma for each span of structure, all this information is then inputted onto the cloud based Pontis Asset Management Database. A general arrangement drawing is required for each structure, with topographical details and both elevations containing all defects found.
