Mungret Housing Development and Associated Infrastructure- Road Construction

Tender description

This project involves the construction of approximately 300m of new roadway at a junction with the existing R510 Regional Road in Baunacloka, Mungret, County Limerick. The proposed section of new road will be 17 metres wide, consisting of a 6 metre wide carriageway, two number 1.5metre wide verges and two number 4 metre wide shared cycle/footway facilities. The footpath and cycleway are required to be provided on both sides of the proposed road and at the junction with the R510 Regional Road. Public lighting shall also be provided. Bus-bays/ stops and a pedestrian crossing on a raised platform/ramp shall also be provided. All services to facilitate the development of the residential development shall be provided along the new section of the road. The construction of the road infrastructure also includes the provision of all necessary drainage works and the provision of all necessary road markings and signage.
