District Heat Works Framework

Tender description

Bristol City Council is engaging the market in order to help shape a procurement framework for contractors to provide District heat installation works. The framework will contain 3 lots. Lot 1 is for the installation of District heat pipe in the highway, including connections into buildings. This will include projects with either Employer led design or Contractor led design. Lot 2 is for the installation of shorter sections of pipe form the heat main into customer's buildings including hot tapping of the branch into the heat main. Lot 3 will be for the installation of the heat substation within customer's premises. These premises may be on construction sites for new buildings or within an existing building. We are looking for bidders to respond to questions in ProContract in order to help us shape the framework and specifications.
