Tender description

The scope of this contract is for cleaning of Residential Accommodation in the Facilities Information Hub based at the University’s Telford Campus. The Accommodation comprises 446 ensuite rooms Non term time (June – September), 304 ensuite rooms Term Time (September – June) within blocks RSA to RSM. The scope of this contract is for cleaning of Residential Accommodation in the Facilities Information Hub based at the University’s Telford Campus. The Accommodation comprises 446 ensuite rooms Non term time (June – September), 304 ensuite rooms Term Time (September – June) within blocks RSA to RSM. This contract has not been split into lots as the need to coordinate the different contractors for the lots could seriously risk undermining the proper execution of the contract. The Qualification section will be assessed on a pass/fail basis in accordance with the standard qualification questions implemented by the Crown Commercial Services (CCS)/Cabinet Office. The requirements here include: — the Tenderer must have a minimum annual turnover of 200 000 GBP, — the Tenderer must have a Credit Safe Score of ≥30, — the successful Contractor must have a minimum of 5 000 000 GBP Public Liability Insurance — the successful Contractor must have a minimum of £10M Employers Indemnity Insurance. Additional Qualification elements are as follows: Must hold membership of either or both of the following: — membership of The British Industry of Cleaning Science (BICS), — membership of The British Safety Council (BSC). The top scoring five 5 Tenderers in terms of the marked questions will be automatically taken to the next stage of ITT assessment (“Award Stage”).
