Tender description

The requirement for a framework agreement for the provision of a local General Building Materials framework. It is the intention of the authority to procure this through an open tender exercise within the next 2 months. The Authority wishes to establish a Framework Agreement for the provision of General Building Materials with a single supplier. The predominant users within the Council of this Framework Agreement will be the internal Housing team (Community Maintenance Services) who deal with planned and responsive works relating mainly to our Housing stocks; and FM (Facilities Management) teams, both of whom deal with the day to day repairs and maintenance that are needed throughout the remainder of the Council’s estate. However, it should be noted that it is intended that any Council requirement for General Building Materials will be put through this Framework Agreement. It is the intention of the authority to procure this through an open tender exercise within the next 2 months.
