Tender description

Dublin City Council is seeking contractor to carry out a ground investigation contract for the new pedestrian and cyclists bridge over the Liffey in the Docklands area of the City. The investigation works will involve the drilling of cable percussion and rotary core boreholes on land and in the river, excavation of trial pits, excavation of slit trenches, geophysical surveys, associated temporary traffic management, in-situ testing, laboratory testing and production of a factual Ground Investigation and Contamination Assessment reports. The investigations are required to inform the future development which consists of a new bridge across the River Liffey connecting Blood Stoney Road and New Wapping Street for pedestrian and cyclists traffic. The Contractor shall act as PSCS for the duration of the investigation works.
