Tender description

Suppliers to receive or haul waste from Household Waste Recycling Centres and other approved sources. The supplier is to treat the materials in accordance with the waste hierarchy where “Recovery” is deemed to be the least acceptable of the hierarchy. Each waste stream has its own lot, specification and payment mechanism. The tender process is by using a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). Contractor(s) to receive material and to treat it from Household Waste Recycling Centres across the county and other approved sources. Some lots will have this material delivered to the winning contractor(s) and some will require the contractor(s) to haul. Full details will be included within the procurement documents.
