Tender description

Inclusive in the scope of service is uplift and disposal of the following types of waste Pan Scotland using skips or bins: — general waste (Pan Scotland), — DMR (Pan Scotland), — glass (Labs only), — clinical (labs only), — food, — confidential waste in line with GDPR, — ad hoc (WEE, Lithium ion batteries, lab equipment), — wood pallets, — tetra pack. To ensure compliance with ISO14001 and Zero Waste Scotland Regulations contractors must be able to provide the following: — information on the Recycling Journey, — full traceability of waste (including waste transfer, consignment notes, and use of EWC and SIC codes), — tracking of Scottish Water carbon footprint, — regular report providing information on the monitoring and measuring capability of Scottish Water waste, — separation of waste capability.
