Provision of Event Management Support

Tender for South Essex Active Travel Event Management Support Southend-on-Sea Borough Council is inviting expressions of interest for the provision of ongoing event management support for the South Essex Active Travel (SEAT) project. Some key elements of this support will include, but not be limited to: • Strategic event programme design and management • Event management and logistics • Management of exhibitions at public events • Development of event content • Event production • Project planning • Budgetary management • Provision of on-site resource to manage and co-ordinate events • Identifying locations for events • Venue sourcing, contracting and management • Risk management • Management of audio visual systems for events • Event promotion and communications • Contribution to project evaluation It will be important that the service allows for flexibility for the scope of activity to change as the campaign evolves to ensure that key objectives of the project are met. The contract term will run for 20 months from 1st August 2018 - 31st March 2020. The maximum budget for the 20 month contract capped at a maximum of no more than £150,000.
