ALS invites tenders to this DPS from providers with a proven track record of delivering non-accredited provision to adults in a variety of settings. Non-accredited or non-formal learning (adult learning) refers to structured, taught learning but differs from formal learning in that it does not lead to a qualification within the aims and objectives of the course. It is possible it will lead to a certificate of achievement or statement of attainment. Some examples of types of non-accredited courses include: • Introduction courses (e.g. Maths, English, ICT) • Personal enrichment courses (e.g. personal development, instruction skills) • Work-related courses (e.g. skill development, job search training This will be an electronic application and applicants are advised to complete this via The Chest at any time during the duration of this Dynamic Purchasing System. This Latest Round will be open until 31st August 2018 and will be closed for the 18-19 Academic Year. This will once again be opened and Evaluated in July/August 2019.
