Tender description
The University of Leeds intends to enter into a contract with Hauzer to purchase a significant upgrade to existing PVD coating equipment. This is an award notice subsequent to a voluntary ex ante transparency (VEAT) notice, indicating that The University of Leeds intends to enter into a contract with Hauzer to purchase a significant upgrade to existing PVD coating equipment. The existing equipment was designed and manufactured by Hauzer. All of the required upgrades will be mechanically integrated into the existing Flexicoat 850 platform, all of the required upgrades will be interfaced with the existing software control system. Introduction of 3rd party products and services would not be compatible with the operation and maintenance of the existing equipment.
