British Council is preparing to re-tender for the provision of three services which it would like provided by one company: 1) Counter-Terrorism/Money laundering; 2) Financial credit screening of partners and 3) Ethical/reputation screening. For the purposes of this PIN we would seek informational about all 3 services for Partners (Trust, Corp, Philanthropic and Multilaterals), contracts, grants and suppliers. We have a rough estimation of the scale which would be between 25 000 and 50 000 requests annually. The supplier must demonstrate considerable experience within 3 years (or more) of providing these services at scale across 2 or more of the following organisational contexts: — public sector, — private sector (globally), — charitable/philanthropic, — international development. The contract would last for 3 years, with an option to extend for a further 2-12 month periods. Please provide evidence (2 pages of A4 maximum) which can demonstrate a specialist approach in completing these services at scale and across our global network. To assist with planning a budget it would be helpful if ball-park costs could be provided. At the tender stage, companies will be asked to submit a register to total screenings completed within a 3-year timeframe and disaggregated by type of organisation (as per above); outcome (e.g. pass/fail/review subject to targets met) and cost options. Supporting documents evidencing procedural approach (automated where possible) and operating policies are recommended. Companies must indicate their current reporting methodology, schedule and evidence of external benchmarking.
