As part of the Henry Royce Institute for Advanced materials, the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at The University of Sheffield would like to purchase a small-scale strip caster with the capacity to melt up to about 100 g of various metals and alloys and to produce width of ribbons up to 20 mm. This small-scale strip caster is to support the materials discovery strand of the Henry Royce theme.
