Tender description

Surrey County Council are seeking tender submissions for Personal Support Services. These services will be procured through a Dynamic Purchasing System. The DPS will commence on 1.4.2019 and will be in place for three years with the option to extend up to a further 2 years. Personal Support includes but is not limited to children and young people with permanent and substantial disabilities who require support which is personalised to each child. Support will be focused and based on desired outcomes and may include help with personal care in the home or supporting the child to access activities in the community. Support that includes but is not limited to supporting children and young people with managing their behaviours and emotions particularly where there are identified behaviours that challenge. This may take place in the child’s home or in supporting the child to access the community. Complex Needs Personal Support includes but is not limited to children with more complex behavioural and/or complex health needs which may include gastrostomy care, catheter care, moving and assisting and help with all personal and intimate support needs. This does not include nursing care.
