Tender description

Calderdale Council is interested in securing an alliance of organisations to provide public health services for school-aged children in Calderdale. We are holding a bidders day to raise awareness of our aims for new ways of working, and to help us to understand the potential for interested parties who are willing to come together to work with us in developing the approach and service delivery. The bidders day will be held on 17.10.2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm, in Room B, Halifax Town Hall, Crossley Street, Halifax, West Yorkshire HX1 1UJ.We will be seeking 1 bid from a range of providers working together in an alliance model. We anticipate each of the lots described below to be described as part of a single alliance model, with clear lines of accountability for each lot. Once we have procured an alliance of providers we will work in partnership to define the service model. Public Health nursing for school-aged children. Sexual health promotion and support to school around relationships and sex education. Substance misuse health promotion. Nutrition: improving the food environment for school-aged children.
