Tender description
This tender is for the first year of a three-year governance development framework. Subject to funding and a review of quality and impact at the end of the first and second year, this could be extended for 2019-20 and 2020-21 financial years.The DfE funded Governance Development Framework (GDF) is aimed at developing the skills of both new and existing board members and, where appropriate, clerks/company secretaries in Further Education and Sixth Form Colleges. Some elements may also be applicable to other types of FE provider. The GDF provides a structured yet flexible approach to learning for board members and clerks/company secretaries either as they begin their roles or for experienced members of governing bodies and governance professionals to develop to become more specialised and add substantial value to the organisations and students which they serve.
