This work will develop the current logical data model for Environmental Measurement, and deliver controlled lists/registers for some of the key entities. The model is the result of extensive work across our current applications that hold measurement data, and has been reviewed by our business. It has succeeded in defining the entities, definitions and relationships of our environmental measurement data, but does not define attributes for the entities. The next step in standardising our measurement data is to understand the current attributes and content for key entities. This will enable us to refine the definition of the 'qualifier' entity and define controlled lists and standards for key attributes. The outcome of this work is to; a) Develop the model further, by understanding and defining the 'qualifier' entity b) Confirm/suggest changes to the current sub typing for parameter c) Develop controlled lists of terms for parameters (or the sub-types of parameter) Environmental Measurement for the purpose of the logical data model means the capture of raw data for what we measure in the environment.
