Tender description
Prior to commencing a formal procurement process NHSBT would like to consult the market to improve our knowledge of all Flow Cytometer systems available, identify further opportunities and market interest. NHSBT requires Flow Cytometers for the enumeration of cell populations, cell phenotyping of patients and donors, leucocyte red cell and platelet antibody detection by NHSBT diagnostic, product testing and research laboratories. Interested organisations are required to express their interest to jess.allen@nhsbt.nhs.uk by 17:00 hours (GMT) on 17.9.2018 including a brief overview/web link what might be offered to meet the requirements above. If you do not respond by this date you aren’t excluded from taking part in the forthcoming tender, this date is to allow for supplier engagement to be organised. Further information (e.g the draft technical specification, award criteria, timescales etc) may be released, for consultation purposes only, to organisations who express an interest. Supply and support of clinical Flow cytometers. The lot will specify the different requirements in Flow cytometer capability. Maintenance and support for the existing Flow cytometer devices within the authorities listed in the tender.
