2030/392/EML/MG/18 Coordinate Measuring Machine The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for a Coordinate Measuring Machine on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, Machining Group at Catcliffe, South Yorkshire. Scope of Requirement The AMRC is undertaking research within various manufacturing topics in the aerospace sector. Within the facility there is an existing Metrology capability, which will be focused on undertaking measurement in support of this research. As part of the equipment strategy a requirement for an additional coordinate measuring machine (CMM) has been identified. The CMM will be used to measure components and test pieces manufactured during our research activities, including a specific requirement to have gear inspection capability.
