Tender description

Managed Healthcare Facility (Managed Service). Support the expansion of robotic surgery and establishment of a Centre of Excellence for Robotic Surgery through the provision of surgical robots under Managed Service Agreements. Lot 1 (Primary Provision) Scope may include buy-back of two existing surgical robots and provision of at least two additional robots with the option to further increase provision for a further four robots (eight robots in total). Lot 2 (Evaluation Provision) Scope may include option to award to more than one supplier to assess pre-market and new to market systems and the option to provide up to four evaluation robots. Managed Healthcare Facility (Managed Service). Scope of service will include provision and re-fresh of equipment, equipment maintenance, management of the supply chain, soft facilities management services (where appropriate), process optimisation. The Contract will include the option to expand the Managed Service to cover a maximum of eight surgical robots during the term of the Contract. Managed Healthcare Facility (Managed Service). The Lot will cover surgical robotic systems at pre-market/ new to market. The Trust reserves the right to award a Managed Service Contract to more than one supplier under this Lot to enable evaluation of different systems to be undertaken. The Contract will include the option to supply up to four robot systems under the Evaluation Lot.
