Tender description

Re-procurement of outsourced sterile services and decontamination managed service contract with option of track and trace system included. The overall objective is to secure the provision of a modern and efficient sterile and decontamination service which achieves the national policy for compliance with all of the latest and future quality and legislative standards, at a competitive and cost effective price, enabling the Trust to service their current and planned/unplanned growth requirements in a timely manner. The service is already outsourced and sterilisation occurs off-site. The service will include the comprehensive provision of sterile services and other decontamination services including the cleaning of surgical/medical instruments/devices and equipment within facilities. The Services to be provided must comply with all relevant current legislation and regulations. The Trust are looking at the option of including a track and trace system through the sterile service contract to support the management of sterilised equipment.
